About Our Company

We are a Small Business Enterprise located in Palm Beach County. We serve the science, engineering and technology needs of South Florida. Our main offices are at 2475 Mercer Ave., Suite 302, West Palm Beach, Florida.

An internationally experienced Engineer, Project Manager and Entrepreneur, Rajiv Shah, founded SFEC in October of 2011 as a State of Florida Limited Liability Corporation. He set forth the goals of providing high quality consulting services in Engineering, Environmental Services, Information Technology and Geographic Information Services.

Our Principal Engineer and owner is Tom Conboy, P.E. Mr. Conboy is a Professional Engineer with the State of Florida. He is an experienced Project Manager with hydrologic experience in South Florida Watersheds.

Since our firm’s founding, we have recruited experienced consultants and water managers, some with over 20 years professional experience in managing the natural resources of South Florida.

We have also added Christopher McVoy, Ph.D., an Ecohydrologist, Everglades expert, author, elected official, educator and advocate for science-based environmental science.

SFEC currently has seven professional staff members:
